Meghan and I chatted for the first time this past January. After a nearly two hour long conversation over delicious coffee she immediately felt like such a dear friend. I always love it when this happens, when clients become friends, it always translates so well in their photos, and Meghan and Madison are proof of that! We got to spend the evening all around Lexington, from downtown in Gratz Park (where Madison proposed!) to Transy’s campus (where Meghan went to school) and then out to rolling hills of Talon Winery for a picnic! Getting to capture Meghan and Madison in a place where their love story first began, to where they have started to put down roots is so special! I love that we got to see all different sides of Lexington!

You all are such a special couple and I cannot wait for your wedding! August can’t come soon enough!

Hannah + Dylan Film Engagement Session

When Hannah reached out to me back in October to shoot her July wedding, I knew off the bat that she and Dylan were such a sweet couple. Because of busy schedules, it took us until June to finally meet, but when we did I realized that they are so much more than a sweet couple. They are kind, funny, and love each other so much, they instantly felt like such wonderful friends, I can only imagine how joyful their wedding will be!

We met at Pisgah Presbyterian Church where Dylan proposed to Hannah. This is such a special spot and absolutely gorgeous! When then headed to Keeneland and took advantage of the beautiful grounds there as well!

Hannah and Dylan, thank you for allowing me to capturing such special moments and the beginning of your beautiful legacy! I can’t wait for July 6th!

Erika + Clayton | Downtown Lexington Kentucky Engagement Session

To say that I love this couple would be an understatement. Erika + Clayton are two of my dearest friends, and it has been so amazing to watch their relationship grow and develop over the years! When Erika reached out to me about shooting their wedding, I was seriously so excited! Getting to photographs friends is truly such a joy and I love it when my friends become clients and clients become friends!

We actually broke up their session into two days because the weather started to look a bit gloomy. I was so glad that they were on board with this because the second day was so beautiful and sunny! We started at Kentucky Native for the day shared some delicious drinks, and wandered around the greenhouse. The following Tuesday we spent time down in Gratz Park, and then headed to the Henry Clay Estate where they actually got engaged! I’m so grateful for these friends and the way that they love each other and those around them. I’m so excited for your big day in November!
